Cisco Syslog traps display an incorrect severity mapping mismatch in DX NetOps Spectrum․
ERROR MESSAGE: "ELEMENT_CRITICAL: Memory very high"
SYMPTOMS:
Trap severity 4 warning produces an orange major alarm instead of a yellow minor alarm․
Sending a trap with severity 0 results in an error․
Event 0x210c0e reports an incorrect severity value․
CONTEXT: This occurs when Spectrum processes Syslog traps from Cisco devices and maps them to events․
IMPACT: Alarm severities do not accurately reflect the original Syslog severity․
DX NetOps Spectrum: 24.3.x, 25.4.x
