Issue/Introduction

A bind of PACKAGE (NULLID_DB2TOOLS) receives error DSNT238I  PACKAGE = YYYYYY.NULLID.SYSZZZZ.()
           DOES NOT EXIST

 

Environment

z/os DB2 

Cause

The reason for the Bind error where the package does not exist is because the IBM job to bind the NULLID packages (used for JDBC connections) has not been run.

Resolution

Bind the DB2 null packages. See db2binder-utility and address-rest-api-requirements
