fail: [<ServerName1>]
Product: Spectrum 24.3, 25․4
Excessively Large files, potentially the ․moot․trace file, cause the tar/zip collection to take too long ․ This excessive delay causes the Ansible task to time out and fail․ In some cases the .moot.trace file
can grow exponentually over time.
In the case of the .moot.trace file the SpectroSERVER will need to be stopped to delete the file. (This will be recreated when the SS restarts)
Step 1․ STOP THE SPECTROSERVER Verify that the SpectroSERVER is not running ․
Step 2․ REMOVE LARGE TRACE FILES Path: $SPECROOT/SS/․moot․trace Remove the ․moot․trace file ․
Step 3․ REMOVE LARGE LOG FILES Locate and remove any old or exceptionally large log files, such as ARCHMGR․OUT․bak, catalina.out ..etc
Step 4․ RERUN THE UPGRADE Execute the Ansible upgrade task again ․ EXPECTED: The upgrade task completes successfully and upgrades the system to version 25․4․x
