Viewing Datacom Server PTF version on windows PC client

Issue/Introduction

Is there a method to see the version level number of Datacom server that is running on Windows?

Environment

Datacom Server x64 x86

WINDOWS

Resolution

On a PC where Datacom Server had been installed, locate the installation in the PC Control Panel, Program, Programs and Features. Notice the 'Version' value shown for the Datacom Server product. In the example below, both Datacom Server Version 15.0 x64 and x86 have been installed.

Both show Version 15.01.0752.5  and can be interpreted as:

• 15.01  Datacom Server Version 15.0 (identified in this example as 15.01 indicating a maintenance level)
• 0752.5 is the number part of PTF SO07525
