New name other than DSNHDECP

Issue/Introduction

Question:  

With DB2 V10 NFM, you can specify a module name other than DSNHDECP to be used by a DB2 system.

We are planning on exploiting this feature to have a customized name ssidDECP for our DB2 systems. 

 

We would like to know if Easytrieve supports this change?

Answer: 

A review of the Pan/SQL code indicates that we are using the module name DSNHDECP as a method of identifying SSID. We do not have a way to change this name. 

 

Looking at the request, this would be an enhancement to the product.
