Issue/Introduction

Question:

Are Datacom 15.1 PTFs needed for CA Datacom/AD 15.0?

Answer:

No. Datacom version 15.1 PTFs are not applicable to CA Datacom/AD Version 15.0 nor for CA Datacom/DB 15.0.

CA Datacom/DB 15.1 is a separate SMP/e install altogether with different FMIDs.

That is, version 15.1 FMIDs are CA**F10 while the 15.0 FMIDs are CA**F00. 

Additional Information:

TEC1736045 "CA Datacom/AD Version 15.0 is packaged with Datacom 15.0 components up to CA RS 1601 level. For those not yet using CA Chorus Mainframe (CSM) obtain the additional maintenance from the "CA Datacom/CA Ideal/CA IPC Maintenance Grid for z/OS"
