In which step zdu_active flag changes to 1 at the time running ZDU ?

AE 24.4.3

Resolution

* The zdu_active flag for the new version typically remains at 0 during Step 1 (Prerequisites), Step 2 (DB Load), Step 3 (Start new processes), and even Step 4 (Upgrade Mode).

* During Step 4, both base and target processes may be running, but the upgrade is not yet finalized, meaning you still have the option to safely rollback to V24.4.0.

* The flag changes to 1 (enabled/active) only during Step 5 (Finalize). When you finalize the upgrade, the system formally commits the target version as the sole active version, shutting down the old base WPs/JCPs permanently and removing the ability to roll back.
