Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

Incorrect permissions on the vCenter for the account used for the vCenter adapter.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to vCenter > Administration >> Single Sign On >> Users & Groups to verify the vCenter adapter user is a member of the LicenseService.Administrators group.
  2. Ensure that the role that the vCenter adapter user is assigned in vCenter has Global permission and "Propagate to children" is selected as per Add a Global Permission
  3. Ensure that the vCenter adapter user account on the vCenter adapter has all of the privileges detailed at Privileges Required for Configuring a vCenter Adapter Instance

Additional Information
