SOI Spectrum Connector 2.0.0.260 does not pick up the IFW 4.3 Installation folder

Issue/Introduction

SOI 4.3 CU2 Integration Framework is installed in E:\SOI, however, the Installer of the Spectrum Connector 2.0.0.260 does not pick up this folder and installs into the default C:\Program Files\CA\SOI.

While SOI Spectrum Connector 2.0.0.259 picks up the Folder correctly from the IFW Integration Framework, SOI Spectrum Connector 2.0.0.260 ingnors the non-default 

Environment

• SOI 4.3 CU2
• Spectrum Connector 2.0.0.260

Cause

Defect on Spectrum Connector 2.0.0.260 

Resolution

To resolve the issue. 

1. If the installer pointing to the wrong install folder is still up and running, stop the installer.
   
   
2. Run this from command prompt 
   
   reg copy "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\CA\SAM" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CA\SAM" /s /f
   
   
3. Rerun the installer 
   
   
   

After this the installer will point to the same folder non-default folder where the Integration Framework is installed.
