Observed IP Ranges shows "No networks" for healthy uplinks.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi

Resolution

This could be expected behavior. ESXi guesses Observed IP Ranges based on broadcast IP packets through an uplink. 

If an uplink was used only for unicast or multicast communication, ESXi wouldn't have an opportunity to guess Observed IP Ranges. As a result, it shows just  "No networks" even though an unlink was used normally for IP communication.
