VCF Operations for Networks

Issue/Introduction

  • NSXT Manager is added as datasource in VCF Operations for Networks.
  • Upon Validation it shows Invalid credentials.
    See error screenshot below:


  • Collector logs at location /var/log/arkin/collector/ shows below error and exceptions

Environment

  • VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.0
  • VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.1

Cause

The account/username used for NSXT manager is locked after multiple incorrect attempts.

Resolution

  1. Revalidate the used credentials and use the correct credentials.
  2. Please work with your NSXT Admin to unlock the user account mentioned above.
  3. If Password has expired then password needs to be reset as well for the NSXT Manager datasource.
  4. Once above 3 action items are completed then revalidate the NSXT Manager with the username and password,Once it gets validated it will allow you to to submit the datasource in VCF Operations for Networks GUI.
  5. The error message for Invaid credentials should not be seen
