Issue/Introduction

Kafka agent not reporting metrics in the metric tree when deployed in EKS clusters.

Resolution

Using new properties file (attached here), added the filename and path and restarted the pod.  This fixed the missing file error and also after restart, the kafka metrics folder appeared
