Issue/Introduction

When you select Per-Period Metric - Allocation, we get a grid with the values of Allocation/Availability, in another environment it displays differently. 

'Resource Summary Mode' and Histograms
Having 'Resource Summary Mode' to display staffing data as a histogram based on configured thresholds is crucial for effectively visualizing workforce distribution. This mode enables quick identification of staffing levels across different skill sets and departments, helping managers make informed decisions on resource allocation. By setting thresholds, managers can easily identify areas where staffing levels are below or above optimal levels, allowing for timely adjustments to ensure operational efficiency.

The Histograms are configurable by type.

Environment

All Supported Clarity Releases with Resource Summary Mode

Resolution

1. Open Clarity MUX - Staffing workspace - Staff Grid.
2. Toggle ON Resource Summary Mode if not enabled
3. Select the Hamburger / three-dot menu for an allocation metric - go to Numbers in Histogram
4. Select from the None, % Utilization, Allocation/Availability, and Availability - Allocation options.
5. You can now save this as your Saved View

• When 'Resource Summary Mode' is enabled:
• Grid groups by Resource.
• Histogram appears for the following columns with Availability in the Staff grid:
  • Allocation
  • Hard Allocation
  • Total Usage
• Histogram appears for time-varying attributes (Per-Period Metrics) too.
• Colors in the histogram indicate Over/Under Threshold settings configured in the General Settings.
• Allocation and Hard Allocation depends on Over/Under Allocation Threshold
• Total Usage depends on Over/Under Assignment Threshold
