Issue/Introduction

• The VMware Cloud Director Encryption Management appliance is not placed in the correct resource pool which is missing.
• When attempting to run Encryption Manager remediation from VMware Cloud Director, the process fails.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x
VMware Cloud Director Encryption Management 1.2.x

Cause

VMware Encryption Manager remediation cannot be completed due to the inconsistency between VMware Cloud Director and vCenter inventory.

Resolution
