Issue/Introduction

You are having an issue when login to a rhel 9.7 Linux box with pubkey, key type ssh-rsa not in pubkey

If you add sha1 then it works

Environment

PAM 4.2.1 and  4.3
Linux Rhel server 9.7 and Rhel 9.3

Cause

The ssh-rsa host key algorithm is deprecated in RHEL 9 and rsa-sha2-* key algorithms are not supported in SSH MindTerm applets.

Resolution

Fix included in 4.3.1 and 4.2.4 and hotfix 4.2.3.03
