Issue/Introduction

You are seeing below error in service logs.

SEVERE   -- [2026-03-05 03:17:27 GMT] -- AbstractEventListener$ConnectWorker::run(): An unknown error has occurred while connecting to source <GSAM>. Retrying in 30 seconds.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Data file mrerrorbe67aa28be.dat is corrupt.
        at com.ibm.icu.impl.SmICUResourceBundleReader.readResource(SmICUResourceBundleReader.java:347)

Environment

All supported releases of Smarts and Watch4net|M&R

Cause

The Notification List (NL) configured in the respective smarts-listener.xml for GSAM does not exist.

Resolution

Either create NL in the GSAM (as configured in smarts-listener.xml) OR update smarts-listener.xml with existing NL in the GSAM.
