VCF 9.0 configure Offline Depot with binary version for VCF Operations for Networks version 9.0.1 and 9.0.2

Issue/Introduction

You are currently on VCF 9.0.0 version.

Downloading with offline bundle only downloads VCF 9.0.0 binaries and not for VCF Operations for Networks version 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 

With this version you cannot host 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 binaries for   VCF Operations for Networks

Cause

This is expected behavior. You are on VCF 9.0.0 version, hence Offline deport will only allow to download the 9.0.0 binaries only. You cannot add 9.01. or 9.02 binaries on VCF version 9.0.0

Resolution

You need to upgrade the Fleet Manager appliance to either version 9.0.1 to see the 9.0.1 binaries, or you need to upgrade the Fleet Manager appliance to either version 9.0.2 to see the 9.0.2 binaries.

Without that VCF product  will not allow to map the binaries for 9.0.1 or 9.0.2, hence offline deport downloads 9.0.0 binaries only.

VCF Fleet management appliance must be patched to 9.0.1 or 9.0.2 version which will update the latest checksums then you will be able to map it out the binaries for  9.0.1 or 9.0.2.

 

Planning the first steps is to patch the fleet manager appliance to above said versions.

• Login into VCF Operations → Fleet Management → Lifecycle → VCF Management 

• A banner stating a new version of Fleet Management is available is shown.

• You need to upgrade Fleet Management appliance before we can upgrade any other component to it's version of 9.0.1 or 9.0.2

Once upgrade Fleet Management appliance is completed to 9.0.1 or 9.0.2 only then the Downloading of Component Binaries such as VCF Operations 9.0.1 or 9.0.2 , VCF Operations for Logs 9.0.1 or 9.02 and VCF Operations for Networks 9.0.1 or 9.0.2 will be available under "Upgrade Binaries"

Note: You cannot keep all 3 binaries at the same given time. These is no such functionally available today in VCF product.
