z/VM 7.4 Reboot Passwords are decrypted into USER IDENTITY line

Issue/Introduction

We have a new VMSECURE install using Version 5 of Directory lookup tool

VMNDLK:  Broadcom Directory  Diagnose  Code=100; Class=E; Version=5 

I can't logon to an ID but can use LOGONBY with your user ID 

 

 

Environment

z/VM
VM:Secure

Resolution

Within VM:Secure's 191 disk check the SECURITY CONFIG  file for 

NORULE REJECT 

and/or the VMXRPI CONFIG on VMANAGER's 191 disk with

* General system default action
CPACTION *        REJECT

If so, than you need a SYSTEM rule that will permit users to LOGON to the system

ACCEPT * LOGON

or nobody will be able to LOGON to the system.
