Issue/Introduction

Virtual Network Assurance (VNA) does not appear to sync with Spectrum as expected․․․․

 

SYMPTOMS:

• Forced sync in OneClick does not update the "Spectrum sync time".

• OneClick displays a sync timestamp that appears behind current time.

Environment

any supported Spectrum integrated with VNA

Cause

The Spectrum sync time field is designed to update only upon VNA inventory changes rather than at every poll interval.

Resolution

The "Spectrum sync time" timestamp is not a real-time heartbeat indicator.
The field only updates when a VNA inventory change occurs.

 

Additional Information

VERIFY VNA INVENTORY PUSH: Check VNA logs for SpectrumInventoryUpdater activity.
