G Suite Securlet "Rescan Content" option is grayed out after use

Issue/Introduction

After performing a content rescan within the G Suite Securlet, the "Rescan Content" option becomes disabled (grayed out). This prevents users from rerunning a scan on the same data set.

 

Environment

CASB Securlet

Cause

Once the rescan is completed, the option to rescan is disabled unless there's a policy change. This prevents admins from repeatedly running rescans.

Resolution

After you modify an existing policy or create a new policy, the rescan option will be enabled again.
