Issue/Introduction

Can CA 7 generate a LATE status in the REQ Q for a non-executable job that is triggered without having to create JCL for its run time?

Resolution

Yes, the job can be defined on the DB.1 panel with a HOLD:Y.  The TRGD-JOB can be defined via the DB.2.4 panel with a (QTM) elapsed queue time rounded down to ten minute increments.  Once the triggered job is retained in the (REQ Q) and the DEADLINE START TIME is met, the job will show late.
