Issue/Introduction

While upgrading the Policy Server version from 12.8.SP7 to 12.9 and below error was observed.

SmCertDBMigrate utility execution failed
----------------------------------------

SmCertDBMigrate utility, which exports all certificates from Netscape
Certificate Database File to trusted.pem, failed with the following error:

STDERR:/siteminder/bin/SmCertDBMigrate.sh: line 66: dos2unix:
command not found

Cause

Missing "dos2unix" utility on Policy server, which couldn't execute the "SmCertDBMigrate" utility. During in place upgrade.

Resolution

Install the  "dos2unix" utility on Linux Policy server to resolve this issue.
