Issue/Introduction

• One or more VMs with encrypted configuration files need to be moved to another vCenter(VC).
• The VMX files are encrypted by native key provider in the source VC.
• The warning is displayed after importing the keys from source VC.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 8.0

Cause

The warning is displayed when there are 2 Native Key Providers available.

Resolution

The warning can be safely ignored. This is a "configuration health" notice, not a functional error.
