Scoreboard widget "Input Data" greyed out in Dashboard

Issue/Introduction

• Scoreboard widget Input Data greyed out in Dashboard.
• The Input Data field is disabled, preventing Aria Operation from selecting the custom group and applying it as a filter.

Environment

Aria Operation 8.18.x

Cause

In Aria Operations, the reason the Input Data section is greyed out is that the widget is currently in ’Self Provider' off mode.
Self Provider indicates whether the objects for which data appears in the widget are defined in the widget or provided by another widget.
Refer vROps/vCOps Reuse Widgets + Metrics

Resolution

To fix this and select your Custom Group, you must enable the Self Provider toggle:

1. Find the setting labeled Self Provider.
2. Switch it to On.
3. The Input Data section immediately becomes active.
