Issue/Introduction

On a Unix platform, CA Arcot RiskMinder Data Upload tool (arrfupload) to upload Quova data fails with the following fatal error:

./arrfupload: error while loading shared libraries:libnamevalxref.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Environment

Environment:

Unix, Linux, RHEL (Red Hat Linux) platform.

Cause

The Riskminder arrfupload utility needs the shared object file named libnamevalxref.so  for correct processing of Quova data.

Resolution

The proper processing of arrfupload utility requires that certain environment variables to be set before execution of arrfupload. There are two ways to create the environment variables before executing arrfupload utility.

  1. Source in the CA provided file called arrfenv (provided in the <ARCOT_HOME>\sbin directory) so as to set the required environment variables.  OR
  2. Execute arrfenv file via command - “.<ARCOT_HOME>\sbin\arrfupload”. Note that after the ‘.’ (dot) there is a space in the command.
