Issue/Introduction

Issue: 

The job will not return the status from the agent to the manager. The job remains in the LRDY status in the CA7 queue.

 

Environment:  

Workload Automation System Agent on AIX server.

 

Cause: 

The following error message may be seen in the transmitter log of the agent:

TCP/IP Controller Plugin.Transmitter pool thread <Slow:1>.CybTargetHandlerChannel.constructAFMToHost[:907] - cybermation.library.afm.CybInvalidAFMException: Must be at least 2 slashes

 

Resolution/Workaround:

Perform a cold start of the agent by following the steps below:

1. Stop Agent

2. Delete the database and spool directories.

3. Start the Agent.
