Issue/Introduction

Objects in AWI disappears or the view "jumps" to a blank space within a Workflow (WF). In rare conditions, this sequence of events has also been linked to database deadlocks.

When you zoom in/out or nativate the workflow, an object would flicker or disappear from view.

Environment

Product: CA Automic Workload Automation - Automation Engine
Component: Automic Web Interface (AWI)
Affected Version: 24.4.1 

Cause

The issue is reproduced by performing the following steps:

  1. Open a Workflow containing objects with PromptSets.
  2. Restart an object within the Workflow.
  3. Do NOT submit or cancel the PromptSet.
  4. Wait for the object to exceed its Maximum Runtime so it blocks itself.
  5. Unblock the task.
  6. Upon unblocking the task, the object disappears visually and the AWI jumps to blank space in the Workflow

Resolution

This will be fixed in a future release
