Error: The OLE DB provider "MSOLAP" has not been registered

Issue/Introduction

After uninstalling SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) from the server hosting Microsoft SQL Server and the RiskFabric relational database, some dashboards in the Risk Fabric console fail to load. Instead, they display the following error message:

Your request failed. Click 'OK' to close this window or 'Refresh' to refresh the page.
Try again or contact the site administrator.

Error ID: <ID>

In addition, the Calculate Risk Scores step of the RiskFabric Processing job is failing and logging the following error message:

Error Msg: The OLE DB provider "MSOLAP" has not been registered.

Resolution

To re-register the provider, download and install the MSOLAP driver that matches the driver currently installed in your environment. To determine the version, follow the procedure documented in the following Microsoft article:
