Fresh deployment of the 6.14.2 OVA file is failing when using the vSphere Web UI (local file upload). The deployment fails during the initial upload phase with a "missing file" error.

Issue/Introduction

Fresh Deployment of the 6.14.2 OVA file is failing when using the vSphere Web UI (local file upload). The deployment fails during the initial upload phase with a "missing file" error.

NOTE:
Upgrade path is not affected due to this issue.

Environment

VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.2

Cause

The failure occurs due to a discrepancy between the OVF descriptor file and the actual contents of the OVA archive, combined with strict client-side validation in the vSphere Web UI vs lenient checking via backend.

Resolution

This is now fixed.
New OVA files are uploaded to the Broadcom Support Portal
The build number remains the same, hence no issues even if customer uses LCM for deployment.
