Metric search functionality does not filter the view correctly in VCF Operations 9.0.2

Issue/Introduction

• When using the search box to filter for a given metric, in the metrics tab of any object, the UI does not dynamically filter the results and only highlights matching terms.
• The highlighted matching term my be inside an un-expanded metric tree, make it very difficult to find the result.
• The behaviour is present after an upgrade to VCF Operations 9.0.2.

VCF Operations 9.0.2

Cause

This issue is caused by a software regression introduced in the VCF Operations 9.0.2 user interface search filtering logic.

Resolution

This is a known issue. There are no plans to resolve this in the current release, 9.0.2. The issue is not present in the upcoming release, 9.1.
