Issue/Introduction

Installed Automation Point 11.8 and Patch1 (LU19686) on new servers and configured everything.
Can connect to the Notification Manager (NM) website locally but for some servers when try from remote Windows PC it times out (no errors).
Using this logon which works from the server:  http://hostname/notification-manager/signin

Environment

Automation Point 11.8

Resolution

Used Windows telnet client from command prompt to verify firewall was open from remote PC.
The command "telnet hostname 80" gave blinking cursor indicating the firewall is open.

Two of the new servers had problems which were resolved as follows:

  • Restarted restarted Node.js (APNODE service)

  • Reinstalled Patch1.
