Issue/Introduction

While performing an upgrade in NFA Console we see a failure from Install log:

APP_DIR: NULL

Custom Action:            com.ca.im.installanywhere.action.GetSsoUserInstallDir
                          Status: FATAL ERROR
                          Additional Notes: FATAL ERROR -     class com.ca.im.installanywhere.action.GetSsoUserInstallDir FatalInstallException: $APP_DIR$ is not a valid directory name.

 

Environment

NFA Console from 24.3.7 to 25.4.4

Resolution

This error message can be safely ignored.  The installation can continue as normal.
