Issue/Introduction

A plugin download error was observed in vCenter tasks after upgrading VMware Live Recovery.

Environment

VMware Live Recovery 9.X

Cause

This issue occurs because the hostname was configured using short name that cannot be resolved via DNS.

Resolution

• Update the vSphere Live Recovery names to FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name).

• Re-generate the vSphere Live Recovery certificates.

• Re-configure the vSphere Live Recovery appliance and re-connect the sites.
