How to get the Telemetry data from AWI

Automation Engine V 24.x

Resolution

Yes, you can extract telemetry and usage data for Automic Automation via the Administration perspective in the Automic Web Interface (AWI). 

Before you view the usage, you need to configure the Telemetry in Automic V 24.x

1. Initial Setup (Client 0): Log in to Client 0 as an administrator. A notification will prompt you to configure telemetry; click the link provided to access the Telemetry page in the Administration perspective.
   
   
2. Configuration Fields:
   Activate Data Sharing: Consent to send telemetry data.
   
   Product Instance: Select your specific product (e.g., Automic Automation).
   
   Mandatory Data: Provide the required Activation Data (Company Domain, Enterprise Site ID).
   
   
   
3. Post-Installation/Upgrade: If not done initially, you can edit settings later via the Configuration Tool's Telemetry tab.
   The system retains detailed telemetry data for up to 18 months, allowing you to cover the past year.

How to Extract Usage Data in Automic UI, see below steps:

1. Navigate to the Administration perspective on client 0
2. Got to Telemetry, and then Open the Usage Data page 
3. Use the Filter button to define the specific 1-year period.
    Note: Select the first and last days of the months for accurate reporting.
4. Export Data: You can export the summarized or detailed information Selecting the relevant node and clicking the Export Detail Data button in the menu bar.
5. Right-clicking the node and selecting Export Detail Data. The data is exported as a CSV file
