How to exclude certain Device Configuration Content from configuration comparisons in Spectrum.

Resolution

Use the Device family masks to exclude device Configuration content from configuration comparisons or to hide sensitive information from unauthorized users. You can configure Masks by expanding the Configuration Manager in One click and select any Device Family as per the screenshot below:

The Comparison Mask is a list of regular expressions that conceal device configuration content during a comparison with a historical configuration. Any line in the device configuration file that matches a regular expression in the Comparison Mask is ignored during comparisons of configuration files.  You can add or remove masks.

The mask setting can be overridden at the local device level. For more information, check the "Network Configuration Manager" section of the documentation for more details on how to configure the Masks.
