Error: "There are incorrect or missing values below" when setting IOPS reservation to 0

Issue/Introduction

Unable to create storage policy: Host Based Services > Storage I/O Control > Custom Provider: VMware Storage IO Control: IOPS reservation to 0

 

Environment

vCenter: 8.0U3

VCF: 5.2

Cause

Enable rules for "VMFS" storage enabled under Edit VM Storage Policy > 2. Policy structure

Resolution

When editing the VM storage Policy, under step 2. Policy structure, leave  Enable rules for "VMFS storage" unchecked to have host rules apply and avoid VMFS rules for disk provisioning.
