You see an alert generated for temperature from ESXi or vCenter UI.
vSphere ESXi
The hypervisor creates alerts based off temperature readings from sensors that are embedded in the hardware.
Check that your datacenter cooling systems are operating as expected and that there is nothing impeding airflow to the server such as objects, boxes, or other servers sitting in front of the server obstructing airflow.
If everything seems to be correct with the environmental cooling open a case with the hardware vendor for remediation.
While ESXi can alert on hardware health issues the order of operations would be to clear the issue with the hardware vendor. If the hardware vendor were to provide information saying ESXi is errantly reporting the alert then opening a support case with Broadcom for the ESXi host operating system would then be appropriate.
