IGA Xpress database connection test fails with Missing OOTB datasource error

Issue/Introduction

When configuring a database connection, the test fails with the following error.

Value error, Missing OOTB datasource: objectstore [type=value_error, input_value=[{'connection_url': 'jdbc...er': 'iga_xpress_user'}], input_type=list]
    For further information visit https://errors.pydantic.dev/2.12/v/value_error"  Failed to start WildFly IDM Server.

Environment

IGA v15.x

Cause

The object store datasource has not yet been configured, as noted in the error message:

Value error, Missing OOTB datasource: objectstore [type=value_error, input_value=[{'connection_url': 'jdbc...er': 'iga_xpress_user'}], input_type=list]

 

 

Resolution

Configure the Identity Manager objectstore datasource.

In the IGA Xpress dashboard, select Services > Identity Manager > Datasources

In Datasources, click the DataSource dropdown and select objectstore.

Configure and apply the objectstore datasource.
