Performance charts of the VMs only show the last hour in VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

• Performance charts are only showing the last hour. Daily and weekly charts are not displaying.
• Metrics collection was recently configured.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.x

Cause

There is insufficient data to display the daily and weekly charts. In order for a chart to be produced for display, it currently requires at least two points. If the metrics collection is configured and data is collecting, it will take time for sufficient information to be accumulated for the rollup points in the longer periods.

Resolution

Wait for the metrics history to collect sufficient information to produce the daily and weekly charts.
