Incorrect Sort By Date in WAC

Issue/Introduction

In the Web Access Console, users navigate to Patch Management.

Then in the center pane, they click the Job completion column to sort the results by time.

We see that the Times are sorted by the first observed digit.

In environments that use the DD MM YYYY format this does not sort the list chronologically.

Environment

Client Automation 14.6

German and French environments, but may be seen in other environments that display dates using the DD MM YYYY format. 

Cause

Sorting appears to be string based instead of integer/date based.

Resolution

Dev-SE has fixed this issue and will be releasing a fix in an upcoming patch for Client Automation 14.6

The release is scheduled for the third week of March 2026, but is subject to change.
