Issue/Introduction

The article describes the UIM capabilities and alternatives of MPIO (Disk Multipathing) monitoring.

Resolution

There are 2 ways to monitor storage/disk parameters.

Using the CDM probe, you can monitor multiple DISK metrics, but out-of-the-box MPIO metrics are not available:

Another option is to use SNMPcollector, but this requires a running snmpagent on the target device, and MPIO metrics must be available in the SNMP metrics for that device:
