Issue/Introduction

When copying tasks from a template, if resources are assigned to the task that are copied, the resources do become team members, they do not become
participants, even if they are participants on the template.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Navigate to Classic Administration> Project Management  > Settings
  2. Confirm that "Automatically Add Staff Members As Project Participant" is set to "When added to Investment".
  3. Create "Project A" and mark as a template.
  4. Create "Task 1"
  5. Add the resource to "Project A" and assign the resource to "Task 1".
  6. On the Project Team > Participants subpage, note the resource has been added as participant
  7. Create "Project B".
  8. Navigate to the task list page for "Project B".
  9. Click on "Copy from Template" and select "Project A".
  10. Select "Task 1" and "Copy".
  11. Navigate to the Team tab on "Project B" > Notice the resource has been added
  12. Navigate to the "Participants" subpage of "Project B".

Expected Results: The team member is listed as a participant in Project B.
Actual Results: The team member is not listed as a participant in Project B.
