Issue/Introduction

  • When running the initial Quickstart, Aria Automation is unable to save settings. Upon Clicking "NEXT STEP" on the Policies page, the Summary page does not load and the following error is observed:
Http failure for https://Automation_FQDN/migration/api/quickstart/workflows/########-####-####-####-############: 400 OK
  • In step 5 of the Quickstart the Policies page, "Approval" has been set to "Approval Required" and "Auto expiry decision" is set to "Reject" instead of the default setting, which is "Approve"

Environment

Aria Automation 8.18.1

Resolution

To work around the issue, set "Auto expiry decision" to "Approve", then after Quickstart has finished successfully, the new Approval policy can be edited to change it to Reject if desired.

  1. In Step 5 of the Quickstart, Click Edit for Approval
  2. Change "Auto expiry decision" from "Reject" to "Approve"
  3. Click "SAVE"
  4. Click "NEXT STEP"
  5. Review the Summary page to verify that it is correct and Click "RUN QUICKSTART"
  6. After Quickstart finishes, Navigate to the Service Broker Service Page > Content & Policies > Policies > Definitions
  7. Open the Approval Policy that was created by Quickstart
  8. Change "Auto expiry decision" from "Approve" to "Reject"
  9. Click "SAVE"
