Is CA Intertest for CICS r 9.1 Z/OS 2.2 compatibility fix RO88052 downward compatible with Z/OS 2.1?

Issue/Introduction

Question: 

We will be migrating to Z/OS 2.2 from Z/OS 2.1 in a few months. We would like to address as many z/OS 2.2 tasks as possible before the cutover date. Is CA Intertest for CICS r 9.1 Z/OS 2.2 compatibility fix  RO88052 downward compatible with Z/OS 2.1? Or is this fix only compatible with Z/OS 2.2?

Answer:  

Fix RO88052 is the downward compatibility with zos V2.1. So you can apply this fix to your Z/OS 2.1 environment before you migrate to Z/OS  2.2 if you like.
