逆方向のリカバリが Host is not a member of VDS で失敗する

Issue/Introduction
- 保護サイトにはクラスタが2つ、リカバリサイトにはクラスタが1つの構成で、保護サイト側のネットワークはクラスタごとに分散スイッチで分けています。
- １つのリカバリプランを作成し、2つのクラスタの仮想マシンをそこに登録し保護しています。
- レプリケーションには vSphere Replication を使用しています。
- 順方向のリカバリとその後の再保護は成功しますが、逆方向のリカバリが以下のエラーで失敗します。
操作に失敗しました
指定されたパラメータが正しくありません: spec.deviceChange.device.port.switchUuid. Host <hostname> is not a member of VDS <VDS name>

Cause
逆方向のリカバリのためには逆方向のインベントリマッピングの設定が必要です。しかし、同一のターゲットを持つ複数のマッピングを作成することはできませんので、再保護時に正しい逆方向のマッピングが存在しない仮想マシンにおいてはターゲットを正しく構成できません。その結果、リカバリがエラーとなります。
On the Prepare reverse mappings page, select the check box for a mapping.
Selecting this option creates corresponding mappings from the item on the remote site to the item on the local site. You require reverse mappings to establish bidirectional protection and to run reprotect operations. You cannot select this option if two or more mappings have the same target on the remote site.
Resolution
回避策：
- 現在の VLSR 上の構成を削除し、クラスタ単位で保護グループ / リカバリプランを作成します。
- 順方向のリカバリ後、再保護の前に、そのクラスタ用の逆方向のマッピングを作成準備します。
- クラスタごとに 2. を行います。
Additional Information
リカバリプランが完了していないと、対象の仮想マシンでは、パワーオンなどの「メソッド」が無効化されています。
パワーオンできる様にするには、下記 KB の Resolution を参考に、それらメソッドをすべて有効にしてください。vSphere 8.0 Update 3 以降では vSphere Client から変更が可能となっています。
