A network segment deleted from the Global Manager (GM) remains in an "In Progress" state.
The segment is greyed out in the UI and cannot be modified or re-deleted. When hovering a cursor over the Trashcan icon, the pop out information states: Deletion in Progress, refresh table to see updates.
If attempts are made to recreate the segment on a Local Manager, they will fail due to the existing stale object.
VMware NSX
The segment deletion is held in a "Marked for Delete" state because one or more Enforcement Points (Local Managers) have failed to realize the deletion due to local dependencies.
Log in to the Global Manager UI.
Navigate to Networking > Segments.
Locate the stuck segment and click the In Progress status link.
Identify which Local Manager site is reporting a failure/alarm.
Click the Alarm link to view the specific referential integrity error.
