Unable to create supervisor namespace in VCFA with custom cluster name.

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• The Blueprint will deploye new supervisor namespace and cluster.
• The deployment is failing with error:
  

  SupervisorNamespace.infrastructure.cci.vmware.com "null" is invalid: [metadata.name: name cannot be specified, it will be derived from generateName, metadata.generateName: Required value, spec.regionName: Required value, spec.className: Required value]

Environment

VCFA 9.0.x

Cause

 Only administrators can create a supervisor namespace cluster in VCFA 9.0.x. 

Resolution

In VCFA 9.0.x it is only possible to use existing supervisor namespace in the Blueprint.

 

Additional Information

Creating new Supervisor Namespace from Blueprint functionality are planned to be available in VCF9.1
