NetApp SRA Adapter Shows Error State in SRM VAMI with “The SRA might have configuration issues”

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• The NetApp SRA adapter show in an error state in SRM VAMI Page.

• In the vmware-dr.log file error related to: Cannot Load Adapter.

Environment

• VMware Site Recovery Managr 9.x
• VMware Live Recovery 9.x

Cause

This is a known issue with NetApp ONTAP Tools. As per the NetApp KB, ONTAP Tools Services deployment can fail with error code 05061.

• The ONTAP Tools VM shows an error message.

• The vCenter ONTAP plugin shows the message: “no healthy upstream”.

• Because of this issue, the SRA service does not respond to SRM requests.

Resolution

This is a known issue on the NetApp side. Need to contact NetApp Technical Support to fix the ONTAP Tools service issue.
