How to check if FIPS mode is enabled on the Usage Meter Web UI

Issue/Introduction

This article describes how to  check if FIPS mode is enabled on the Usage Meter Web UI.

Environment

VCF Usage Meter 9.x

Resolution

 

To check if a mode is enabled:

1. Log in to the Usage Meter Web UI.

2. Click [Settings] > [Security] at the top of the screen, and check the "Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) Compliance" screen.

Note: As shown below, if "DISABLE"  button is displayed, it indicates that FIPS mode is currently enabled.

 As shown below, if "ENABLE" button is displayed, it indicates that FIPS mode is currently disanabled.
