Issue/Introduction

When attempting to add hosts via SDDC Manager > Cluster > Add hosts, the operation is failing with below compliance error.

"Host ###### is not a compliant ESXI version, compliant versions are [8.0.3-24859861]"

**********************************************************************************************************************************

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.x

Cause

The issue is caused by the SDDC Manager database retaining an older ESXi host version after an out-of-band update (outside SDDC Manager). This version discrepancy leads to existing hosts being incorrectly flagged as non-compliant when adding a new host, causing the cluster creation to fail.

Resolution

The Resolution involves database modification, Please contact Broadcom Support  for more details
